San Francisco's Haight Ashbury Graffiti Murals

Guest User March 24, 2015

Street art mural by Austrian Graffiti Artist Nychos in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury District.

San Francisco locals and graffiti artists from all over the world have created a virtual outdoor art gallery along the famous Haight Street. Although The Haight is best known for it's hippie past, a lot has changed a lot since the 60's and the area now has a flavor from hippie to hipster and everything in between. However one of the obvious remnants of the hippie era is colorful hand painted murals which still exist along the main street. Graffiti artists have also seized the opportunity and created a number of contemporary graffiti murals throughout The Haight.
